The prestigious American magazine Wine Enthusiast has awarded two new scores for the high-end wines of Bodegas Manzanos. Specifically, the exceptionally scored wines are Manzanos Reserva 2016 (92 points) and Voché Reserva 2016 (93 points). These scores ratify and support the medals that both references obtained in the Mundus Vini 2022 contest.
Both wines stand out for their complexity, barrel aging and their origin from old vineyards, and all this has been valued by Wine Enthusiast magazine to award the high score achieved in the final tasting.
According to Wine Enthusiast:
Manzanos Reserva 2016 DOCa Rioja (92 points): Intense ruby color in the glass. On the nose aromas of blackberry, milk chocolate and Mediterranean herbs stand out. On the palate, round tannins stand out with a long finish of currant, raspberry, roasted pepper and cocoa.
Voché Reserva 2016 DOCa Rioja (93 points): Red-violet color. Currant, clove, and leather aromas. Pleasant on the palate with delicate tannins, tones of blackberry, strawberry, coffee, chocolate, vanilla stand out, and a soft finish of rose petals.
