We are creating, with care and affection, a new wine, a coupage of different Riojan varieties with grapes selected in the field from our best vineyards in Rioja Alta and Alavesa.

Field selection is the method chosen by the great masters of wine. It is about selecting in the vineyard whose clusters and grapes enjoy the highest quality and optimal health. When we select on the plant it is easier to see the best grapes and choose the privileged ones that will produce our most exclusive wines.
To select in the vineyard you need great professionals with experience, capable of spotting the most succulent bunches and discarding those that are not so succulent in order to be able to take the best grapes to the winery in small boxes, without crushing and still fresh. More experienced field staff and a good technical agronomist team are needed, as well as more time to harvest each of the plots. However, the result is exquisite.
The work in the winery is no less important and for this we have prepared our Bodegas Manzanos Haro for micro-elaboration of selected grapes. Bodegas Manzanos Haro opens this year and, after a few years of renovations, the oldest winery in Haro has been open to wine tourism since last April and has received its first grapes this campaign since 2015.
